Over the past few weeks, a lot of information has surfaced about the Redmi Note 14 series, although not directly from Xiaomi. Instead, various regulators have revealed information about new Redmi Note models, including faster charging for the entry-level Redmi Note 14.
To that end, a recent 3C listing suggests that the high-end Redmi Note 14 Pro will support 90W wired charging, a 34% improvement over the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G ($285 at Amazon). Additionally, Xiaomi is said to be equipping the device with a triple-camera setup, mirroring an alleged recent design leak.
However, the Redmi Note 14 Pro might come with a different camera when it launches in China than in other markets. Specifically, while the former is said to be equipped with a macro camera, Xiaomi will equip the latter with a telephoto camera. Additionally, XiaomiTime reiterates its previous suggestion that Xiaomi will power the Redmi Note 14 Pro with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, the 4 nm chipset announced by Qualcomm earlier this week.
Finally, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 is found in the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, which means it shouldn't be a surprise to see support for the direct successor to the Redmi Note 14 Pro. Still, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 should bring upgrades like 20% better CPU performance and 40% better GPU performance, as well as 12% lower power consumption; see our Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 launch article for more on Qualcomm's new mid-range chip More details about the group.
